This month was one that started slow then ended fast! The nature of the shortest month of the year really. I spend 11 days in Istanbul with Laura seeing the sights, but that of course meant no Clocktower, the longest I have gone in a very long time without playing a single game. This didn’t stop my stream however as I had the amazing and wonderful Tessothemorning and Cam take over for me. I also had all my content scheduled so there was no breaks!
Content
Speaking of Content, despite the break I have managed quite a lot once I returned.
The first games I played before my break was for BlampCo and the latest DemonEyes episode, which is out now! It is always a fabulous time being able to play and experience this new format, this time including Arif!
For my own content, I put out the usual 2 full games a week, one a Teensy the other a larger game. I also kept up with many shorts as the month started but towards the end things took a turn. I applied for and was accepted into the Creator Accelerator program, through my merch provider.
This is designed to improve the quality, consistency and volume of my short form content and you will have seen that already with more clips being posted. These are more single moment clips and they are different to the narrative shorts that I am known for, which will continue, as will the regular Teensy and full game content.
Games
On-to the games, despite being AWOL for nearly 2 weeks, I still got 54 games in for the month, 19 of which were as the Storyteller. I was in an Atheist game, kinda, sorta, but it was not my token so, alas, that one is still missing. I did however get to be a Cacklejack during the monthly Hobart games and am currently in an async text game as the Barista, crossing off the last two Travellers I needed to be, so for now, and likely for a while, Atheist will remain my white whale.
The Cribbage tournament on BGA saw 10 people compete with joshysquashylemonpie coming out as the victor! Stay tuned to Discord to sign up for the March tournament.
Looking Forward
I was on the way to 2500 YouTube subscribers, which I have just hit so, what will March hold now?
I am diving head first into the Creator Accelerator, I am working with an artist (well, technically Laura is working with them, but I am helping) for my next merch releases and I am also working to level up my stream, both from a visual and content perspective but also some new recruits which will be appearing.
