How did a lunatic win a game for evil? Let me tell you how. This is a cautionary tale for any Ojo that might be a Lunatic – be careful on who you tell your choices as it just might end up in the wrong hands.
I, thankfully, was the actual demon, an Ojo, this game. I had a lunatic, also thinking they were an Ojo. They got 2 real minions in their three, my Goblin being one. They claimed minion but the others did not, so the Lunatic appeared to have figured it out on Day 1. I was bluffing Savant, one of my bluffs but also one given to the Lunatic. Being an Ojo, I got given the names, but not characters, of the people that the Lunatic picked. I decided to, on night 2, make town think it’s not an Ojo game so I chose to kill… the Farmer. Day 2 the person who died was asked if they thought it was an Ojo game and they firmly said no, so mission successful.
Day 3, I finally talked to the Lunatic. They claimed Savant at me, and I claimed it back. We shared our information, which was almost identical! The outsider count has been modified OR A sober and healthy Chef would get a 0 (Lunatic said 1). Side note – make less generic Savant info when bluffing. This caused them to come out saying they thought they were indeed the Lunatic and they fully trusted me, even saying that being as our information was so similar that the Story Teller took the fake advice and gave it to me as real advice.
They then proceeded to tell me the characters they had picked each night. Night 2, they had picked… Damsel. I knew the name that related to! As soon as I finished the chat, I whispered to my Goblin neighbour. There was some small concern that the Farmer had jumped to the Damsel, but the Damsel was now on the block, ready to be executed. Minions needed to act. Minion was claimed, Damsel was picked and the game was won.
