Djinn’s special rule
Characters die as normal but the storyteller doesn’t announce deaths. Dead players can nominate. Poisoned players don’t wake up.
How to run
The main idea of this script is to confuse the town as to whether they are dead or alive. Evil wins by muddying these waters and destroying town’s ability to vote effectively. Town has a set of extremely powerful information gatherers and will win in a vacuum. You can choose to not wake up poisoned players, use this ability aggressively particularly when player numbers get low.
When counting votes, make sure to mark player’s who have (perhaps unknowingly) used their dead vote but don’t announce that. Do announce vote totals but do not include in your counts vote from players who are dead and have lost their dead token. If dead players nominate a player run the vote as normal, including players using up ghost vote tokens, but if the person who ends up on the block was nominated by a dead player the execution fails. Do not announce the reason for this- simply “X player is executed and does not die”.
