Description
Hermit – You have all Outsider abilities. [-0 to -1 Outsiders]
Interactions
Lol, yep. The potential is there for all the wacky and janky interactions. Butler/Zealot? Figure it out. Drunk/Lunatic? Please don’t. The official ruling is that the STs should just make a rule they are going to use and inform their players. This is the standard thing but good to hear it officially.

There will not be any three way jinxes so, really, script builders should be very careful when selecting an outside suite to go alongside hermit.
Playing
You will be 3 or 4 characters at once, extra tricky. So be careful to make sure you are aware of all the possibilities of your roles. Are you part recluse? Be mindful of Oracle/Flowergirl/TC when playing. Is Drunk/Mutant on there? Be careful of claiming to have drunk information, lest you be executed.
Or just have fun, lean into the chaos that this role inherently brings and enjoy the ride.
Story Telling
If you know how to run the other outsiders, this one is easy as well. The edge cases, as mentioned above, are interesting to wade into but if you are clear on your ruling, and it is based on reasonable interactions, everything is all good.
Final Thoughts
Script builders beware, be sensible about the outsiders you put on the script to avoid the jank, but be creative in other ways. The release script containing Recluse/Mutant/Hatter is a spicy combination with the Town Crier and Oracle also being on the script.
