Finally, the new character type is released! Lorics, fun ways to add things to scripts. Like Fabled, they are global characters and not assigned to a player. Ben Burns described it well by comparing to video games, in that Fabled are like patches, designed to help people with accessibility and fix script issues. Lorics are like mods, designed to add some more fun or chaos to the game.
Three existing Fabled have become Lorics now – Bootlegger, Gardener and Storm Catcher, but the exciting news is the two new ones!

First we have the Big Wig. This one is all about having fun with the nomination phase of the game.
Each nominee chooses a player; until voting, only they may speak and they are mad the nominee is good or might die.
This is such a fun thing you can pretty much add to any script and acts almost like reverse Harpy madness.
You can see it in action in my short here:

Then we have Tor. An official way to run a blind game.
Players don’t know their character or alignment, they learn them when they die.
This really shows why a Loric and a Fabled are different. Blind games can be a lot of fun, and the wrinkle added here that I hadn’t seen before is learning character and alignment upon death.
