Hindu – A New Loric

Hindu – The first 4 players to die are immediately reincarnated as Travellers of the same alignment.

Interactions

Not much here to talk about, as with most Lorics this doesn’t interact directly with existing characters too much, but is a fun little spice.

Playing

This will be very dependent on your style, but even more reason for early info roles to die since now, death really really isn’t the end. Also, up-front minions like a Baron wanting to get killed early to become an evil Traveller is going to be great, so much versatility and another great way to lesson the sting of early deaths.

Story Telling

The biggest thing is to think about the Traveller choices you are making for balance. By their very nature Travellers are strong so making sure that your choices fit with both the game state but also the script and player count will be important. Thinking ahead of time on what will be good will help speed the game up, but also not being set on your choices as game state is very fluid.

Final Thoughts

Script writers, this is another reason to put recommended Travellers on your custom script, ones that work with your chosen characters both as good and evil, as well as a mix of evil characters (as well as good) that won’t be too unhappy dying early and coming back as a Traveller.
