Once you have explored the range of custom scripts available, what if you want more. Particular character interactions or something thematic. Then you can make your own with the script building tool. This tool, provided by TPI themselves, allows you to experiment with making your own scripts. With an easy to understand and use interface, you can make a script in minutes – more time may be required to make it decent. You can select between Ravenswood Bluff (normal games), Teensyville (5 or 6 players) or Phobos (crazy scripts).
Name the script. Put yourself as the Author. Download the JSON for online custom games or an image/pdf for in-person. All the characters are there. Fabled to design scripts around. You can even (and should!) sort the script in Standard AMY order, great for players to be able to easily understand which roles are the on the script.
Everyone should give this tool a go. Thinking about what makes a good script and why characters work well, or don’t, together is great even as someone who just wants to play as thinking of these interactions can make your plays more interesting and varied, and your solves more complete.
