August is Best-ust

A very busy month in the Beardy-sphere, both in front and behind the scenes.

Starting with the big news for the month, I started (technically at the end of July) my own Australian evening stream on a Monday, with a focus on 1 minion games. This has been a delight, with many new and familiar faces joining me. These are on my YouTube so check them out!

Next, I am getting new artwork done, as you can see in image above. This will not replace but supplement my existing circle logo and was recently debuted in my new stream background, looking all snazzy. Expect more exciting things to come with this in the near future…

Following up on that, I decided there were not enough GIFs out there about our amazing game and it’s players so, along with my amazing manager Laura created quite a collection that is steadily growing. A favourite is Arif after his day 1 Alsaahir win.

On the personal side, I took a week away from ‘real life’ on a trip to Bali which was a great way to relax, but I did manage to squeeze some Trouble Brewing in while I was there. The trip was for a friends 40th but I also turned 40 this month and my bestest Clocktower friends (and enemies) roasted me on my stream. It was quite the surprise.

On the topic of my birthday, my script comp closed submissions and, after some tough choices I managed to get the nearly 60 submissions to a top 12, the first 6 of which are now I just streamed and are open for judging on my Discord! You can find many of the submissions on the script website with the “Beardy Does Teensies Comp 2025” tag.

Finishing with the games for the month, I played 40 games with half as Storyteller. These were across a variety of servers and streams, including helping raise some money for charity. No new characters played this month (still missing Atheist, Princess and Shabaloth) and with no travelling occurring either.
